Launched from Cammel Laird shipyard on April 13th, 1937, she served her country well, taking down the German Battleship Bismarck before falling prey to the German Submarine U-81 on November 14th, 1941. Only one sailor gave his life in the sinking of this great ship.The mould tools for this kit were made back in 1966, with a box illustration by the talented Roy Cross from the same year. For all you specs lovers out there, the item is 38.3cm in length and 8.8cm in width. The kit contains 353 pieces and has a scale of 1:600. It includes sprues and decals, with a plastic finish.
